Our Work
Worshipful-Work® is a model for faith communities who are seeking to intgegrate spirituality and church business. Such an integration can enliven meetings and give administrative activities new vitality by placing God in the center of their work.
Our Community
Worshipful-Work® is a community of men and women who begin with an understanding that elected and appointed church leaders can learn to become communities of spiritual leaders. Worshipful-Work® involves both personal and corporate spiritual formation practices in order to build a stronger foundation for our work together.
Our Mission
Worshipful-Work® seeks to transform church business through the eyes of the heart and to allow for the leading of the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:1-2 is the basis for the shift in the model of the work of the community:
I appeal to you, therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God,
to present your meetings (body of work) as a living
sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be totally changed by the
renewing of your inner core, so that you may discern what is the longing of
God -- what is valuable and pleasing and fully developed.

The practices of Worshipful-Work® establish a close knit community and an energetic team for leadership, both primary ingredients for an effective church board or council. As leaders listen for the yearning of a self-disclosing God, the opportunities for living out "our" story as a community of faith and the focus for "our" ministry together become clear.
